Magician lends a ring from a spectator. The ring disappears (for instance by using a rattle box).

A magic object covered with a silk is to be seen. When magician removes the silk you see a sword stuck through two pieces of wood, and the ring of the spectator hangs on the sword!

This is not the Viking, but the Viennamagic version.
